Job summary

Lakeridge Health Ajax-Pickering is seeking two Regular Part Time Registered Practical Nurses to join Acute Medicine (2W). 12-hour shifts include days, evenings, nights and weekends. Wages range from $36.95 to $39.02 per hour.

Reporting to the Manager of Inpatient Medicine, the RPN will provide nursing care, monitor patients, administer medications, and support a multidisciplinary team in a family-centred environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Practical Nurse.
• RPN Diploma from a recognized community college.
• CPR/BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in a multidisciplinary family-centred environment.
• Provide personal patient care, monitor vital signs and administer medications.
• Collaborate with the team to support family-centred care and documentation.
