Job summary

Qualifications

• Two (2) years recent acute medicine or cardiology or CSIU or emergency nursing experience required.
• Nurses currently working on the unit will be deemed qualified.
• Successful completion of the Cardiac Rhythms Course when the opportunity to take the course is scheduled by the employer, or as otherwise mutually agreed to between the nurse and employer.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs.
• Administration of prescribed medical treatments and a leadership role within the health care team.
• Coordination of patient care and discharge.
