Job summary

Under supervision of the Manager Health Services, you will lead patient care coordination, administer prescribed treatments, and support discharge planning while upholding the hospital's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate ICU nursing course or equivalent experience required.
• Current CRNM registration required.
• Annual BLS Level C registration required.
• Active participation in professional associations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional registered nursing services for ICU/Med/Surg patients, including those with complex needs.
• Administer prescribed treatments and coordinate patient care and discharge.

Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Clinical Practice Nurse - Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. These services include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, a leadership role within the health care team, and coordination of patient care and discharge.
