Job summary

Fed Finance Canada is seeking an accounts receivable technician for a manufacturing company located in Laval. You will report to the Administrative Director and handle invoicing, payments, and collections while collaborating with internal teams.

The role requires a college diploma in accounting or business administration, at least five years of accounting experience, bilingual French/English, and ERP knowledge. The position offers 2 days of remote work and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• College diploma in accounting or business administration.
• At least five years of accounting experience.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Knowledge of or experience with an ERP system.
• Attention to detail, independence and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Verify and approve invoices and ensure they are sent.
• Proactively follow up on payments by email and phone.
• Manage delinquent accounts and send customer reminders.
• Collaborate with customer service and sales to resolve discrepancies.
• Handle invoice-related disputes and corrections.
• Prepare credit memos as needed.
• Generate AR reports using Excel.
• Assist in opening new customer accounts and analyze credit applications.
• Conduct credit checks and liaise with credit insurers.
• Update customer records in the ERP (limits, statuses, taxes).
• Process incoming payments (checks, deposits, credit cards).
