Job summary

A leading company in building engineering and design seeks a Full-Time A/R Manager to oversee the A/R collection process for North America. The position involves communication with clients, tracking accounts receivable, and ensuring timely collections. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of A/R experience, relevant accounting knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years A/R experience, preferably in a project-based billing system.
  • Extensive accounting knowledge and previous experience in collections.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Manage A/R collection and follow monthly processes.
  • Communicate directly with clients as an extension of the Project Manager.
  • Maintain A/R tracker and assist in tracking WIP and troubleshooting payments.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the A / R collection process for North America and liaises between Project Managers and clients. A major component of the role is the ability to be versatile and reliable in order to support Finance staff meeting team deliverables.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Vancouver office.

Reporting to : Finance Director

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • AR Collection
  • Monthly AR collection process to be followed
  • Communicating directly with clients as an extension of the Project Manager and Project Accountant
  • Maintain AR tracker (update Deltek Vision) including updating for latest comments and actions
  • Will assist in tracking WIP and troubleshooting payment issues
  • Monthly statement printing and issuing
  • Weekly AR reports to Team Leaders
  • Weekly collections report to Leadership Team
  • Meet with Project Managers on AR issues

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 3 years A / R experience preferably in a projectbased billing system
  • Extensive accounting knowledge
  • Previous experience in collections
  • Ability to multi task and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Full cycle accounting experience is an asset
