Position Overview

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator will provide support to the Credit team at4Refuel. The Accounts Receivable Coordinator will work to ensure timely payments, address overdue accounts, and maintain strong customer relationships. This position requires strong computer skills, exceptional organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively and proficiency in financial tools and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Collection activities to maximize cash receipts
  • Emailing customers, researching invoices and docket’s, and sending to customers as required
  • Coordinate and update customer credit changes and requests
  • Ensure credit adjustments are approved and completed accurately
  • Preparing account reconciliations as required
  • Processing credit card payments
  • Prepare reports to management as required
  • Other credit and collection duties as needed

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years previous experience in credit and collections
  • Accounting or business-related work experience is an asset
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office programs required
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Enthusiastic and approachable personality; demonstrates reliability and responsibility consistently
  • Possess a polite telephone manner
  • Strong problem solving, time management and analytical skills, high attention to detail
  • Ability to cope with unexpected changes in a day's plan; works well under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
