Qualifications

Job description

Your Responsibilities

  • Preparation of invoices, receipting payments
  • Inter-company AR, clearing account ,sub-ledger reconciliations
  • Designated accounts receivables tracking
  • Preparation of AR related journal entries
  • Follow up with customers including statement preparation and customer call outs
  • Chargeback follow up and reconciling
  • Update and maintain account information and utility customer databases
  • Cross training with Accounts Payable and General Ledger, providing assistance as needed
  • Perform cashout audits and record daily sales reports, online sales
  • Review, process and record season pass refunds
  • Process, reconcile and enter company credit card charges
  • Creating, preparing and analyzing statistical reports
  • Ongoing communication with resort accounting teams
  • Completing bank deposits
  • Miscellaneous filing and job-related duties as assigned

You

  • Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and are comfortable dealing with customers
  • Are enthusiastic and passionate for skiing and outdoor adventure
  • Possess excellent time-management, organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Maintain the ability to work well under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines
  • Are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrate a pleasant and professional demeanor

Required Experience

  • High school diploma with specialized courses in accounting or possess an accounting certificate
  • 1-2 years experience in accounts receivable will be an asset
  • Self-starter with ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of ACCPAC will be an asset
  • Previous bookkeeping experience will be an asset
