We are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable and Collections Clerk on a short term contract. This role will focus on managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with our customers

Key Responsibilities

• Process and record customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, identifying overdue accounts and initiating collection efforts
• Communicate with customers regarding outstanding invoices, payment terms, and discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of account activity and collection efforts, updating systems as necessary
• Assist with addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues related to billing and collections
• Participate in the continuous improvement of accounts receivable processes and procedures

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a similar roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AR processes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
