Qualifications

Job description

Our client, located in Burlington, is looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join their team!

Responsibilities

The Accounts Receivable Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to :

• Enter customer payments in ERP and apply them to the correct invoices
• Run the customer aging reports and analyze for discrepancies
• Process invoices from miscellaneous vendors (utility invoices, consulting invoices, office supplies)
• Prepare invoice summary statements daily
• Perform bank reconciliations for all the banks on a monthly basis
• Prepare credit card spend information on a monthly basis
• Assist the head of finance monthly with closing of books of account
• Preparation of financial statements
• Ad hoc tasks as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance
• Approximately 4-5 years of Full Cycle Accounts Receivable
• Experience with Accounts Payable
• Experience with MS 365 Business Central (asset)
• Experience with Excel is required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A self-starter with a positive, enthusiastic, and can-do attitude!
