Job summary

LightForm Canada in Edmonton is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support the accounting team with a focus on Accounts Payable, while also assisting in other areas of accounting and purchasing cycles. You will process AP transactions, communicate with vendors to resolve issues, ensure timely payments and capture early pay discounts.

Reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and collaboration with controllers are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Min 3 years of Canadian business experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting processes.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
