Job description

Job Title: Accounts Payable Supervisor

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Supervisor to lead a small team and manage the end-to-end AP process in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and experience working within an ERP system.


Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounts payable-focused role, preferably in a high-volume setting (processing 50–100 invoices daily).
  • Proven leadership experience, including supervising and mentoring at least 1–2 team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS), Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience working in a similar operational or industrial environment with a mid-sized workforce (approximately 500–600 employees).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Comfortable working with ERP systems and adaptable to new technologies.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support AP team members, including training and performance management.
  • Review and process vendor invoices and payments (EFT, ACH, wire transfers, e-transfers).
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all AP transactions.
  • Monitor and manage aged payables and vendor accounts.
  • Perform month-end closing procedures and generate AP-related reports.
  • Maintain and update AP policies and procedures.
  • Resolve discrepancies and maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Conduct vendor credit checks as needed.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date vendor files and documentation.

  • Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Delta,BC.
