Envest Corp in Toronto, Ontario is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage high-volume AP activities and support the financial operations of a growing, renewable-energy company.

The role reports to the Controller and requires strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office. It offers a Permanent - Full-Time opportunity in a fast-paced, collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
• 2-3+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or an operational environment is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices with proper approvals and coding.
• Set up new vendors and maintain vendor records.
• Manage expense reports and corporate cards.
• Assist with weekly and monthly payment runs (ACH, wire, check, international).
• Support month-end close and reconcile AP subledger.
• Ensure compliance with tax and reporting requirements.
