Randstad Canada is seeking an Analyst, Accounts Payable in Montréal to join our Finance Shared Services Center. You will review and post AP transactions and ensure timely payments to AIM’s vendors.

The role requires at least 2 years in a similar function, knowledge of basic accounting principles, and a post-secondary accounting or business-related education. You will work with diverse accounting systems and collaborate across departments.

As the Analyst, Accounts Payable, you will report directly to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable and will be part of AIM’s Finance Shared Services Center at our head office in Montréal, Canada.
Your main responsibilities will be to review and post accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payments to AIM’s vendors.

What you're responsible for:

• Accurate and timely review of vendor invoices for posting in AIM’s various accounting systems.
• Validate invoice charges against purchase orders and goods/service receipts, or that authorized approvals have been obtained.
• Identify and resolve any invoicing discrepancies.
• Follow-up up directly with vendors or AIM departments where necessary for discrepancy resolution.
• Follow-up with various AIM departments pending transactions.
• Reconcile vendor statements with the company’s subledger.
• Monitor vendor’ payment schedules to ensure that timely payment is received.
• Provide a quality service to external and internal clients.
