Farm Boy Inc. in Mississauga is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of the Finance team, ensuring timely monthly and year-end close, and driving process improvements.

You will mentor Accounting Clerks, resolve complex vendor issues, manage payment cycles, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support accurate financial operations. Proficiency with AccPac and Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration or Accounting; 5 years of accounts payable experience or equivalent combo.
• Strong supervisory, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Advanced computer proficiency including Excel and ERP systems; familiarity with AccPac.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable activities and resolve vendor inquiries.
• Coordinate monthly close and payment cycles to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Mentor Accounting Clerks and support issue resolution as needed.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Support testing, implementation, and training for financial systems.
