Job summary

Remco is hiring for a senior Accounts Payable role in Mississauga. You will supervise the AP team, train staff, and drive on-time payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

You will oversee end-to-end AP processing, ensure three-way matching and accurate coding, and report on aging and performance to leadership. Ideal candidates have a post-secondary accounting/finance credential and experience in logistics or multi-division environments.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
• CPA designation or active enrolment in CPA PEP is a strong asset.
• Experience in accounts payable and supervision within logistics environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, evaluate, and develop AP staff; set daily/weekly productivity targets.
• Lead weekly AP review and ensure accurate payment processing with CFO approval.
• Maintain vendor relationships and resolve payment disputes promptly.
• Oversee three-way matching, coding, approvals, and posting of invoices.
• Monitor aging and ensure 60+ day items are addressed with plans.
• Coordinate intercompany payables and ensure USD/CAD payments posted correctly.
