Job description

Adecco is currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to support a leading client located in Ajax, ON. This is a 12-month contract role offering $25 / hour, perfect for someone experienced in high-volume invoice processing and accounts payable operations. You'll play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate invoice management within a collaborative team.

  • Pay rate : $25 / hour.
  • Location : Ajax, ON
  • Shifts : Monday-Friday 7 : 00am-3 : 00pm
  • Job type : 12-month contract | Full-time

Responsibilities :

  • Timely and accurate processing of both purchase order and non-purchase order invoices
  • Uploading PO invoices via Excel and entering non-PO invoices in SAP
  • Identifying and tracking invoice discrepancies with actionable resolution steps
  • Managing vendor inquiries, ensuring timely and professional follow-up
  • Supporting and improving AP-related processes and procedures
  • Documenting workflows, procedures, and contact references
  • Providing backup support to fellow AP team members as required
  • Performing other AP-related duties as assigned

Requirements :

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Experience in an accounting environment with a proven ability to manage high volumes of invoices
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • A focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A collaborative team attitude with a drive for process improvement
  • Knowledge of SAP is considered a strong asset
