Summary

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Gore Motors. This position is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payments to vendors. The ideal candidate will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional service while supporting our operations in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify incoming invoices with accuracy and efficiency
• Match purchase orders and receiving documents to invoices
• Enter payables into the accounting system in a timely manner
• Prepare payments, including cheques, and manage payment schedules
• Maintain accurate vendor files and resolve discrepancies as needed
• Reconcile vendor statements and manage inquiries with professionalism

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience, or more, in accounts payable or a similar accounting role (automotive dealership experience is an asset)
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• MUST be fluent in english and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
