Position: Accounts Payable and Payroll Specialist

Reporting to the Controller, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payroll, supporting our financial operations.

A typical day includes:
  1. Processing and reviewing vendor invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  2. Managing vendor records within our expense management software (Ramp).
  3. Forecasting cash flows to optimize cash management across all companies.
  4. Reviewing employee expense reports and processing reimbursements per company policies.
  5. Processing payroll for Canadian and U.S. employees each pay period.
  6. Managing corporate credit cards to prevent misuse and stay within limits.
  7. Performing bookkeeping entries to reflect inter-company relationships and support financial reporting.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Possesses knowledge and experience in accounting and payroll, gained through certifications, courses, or training, with 3-4 years in payroll and accounts payable roles.
  • Proficient in Excel with strong data entry skills and high accuracy.
  • Experienced in a multi-currency environment with multiple entities.
  • Familiar with systems like Dayforce, TriNet, Ramp, Salesforce, or similar.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Thrives in an agile, collaborative, and communicative environment.
  • Enjoys involvement in projects and initiatives that foster continuous learning and leadership.
