Job Responsibilities

JOB PROFILE : Polycon Industries is seeking an Accounts Payable Advisor responsible for paying suppliers, resolving accounts payable issues, and assisting departments with supplier payment information and month-end reporting.

Qualifications Necessary To Do The Job

• Accounting College certificate or university courses in related field required
• Minimum one year of accounting experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with accounts payable is an asset
• Advanced Excel experience required
• Previous experience with MAPICS system preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Customer service skills for supplier payment issue resolution
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good time management skills for handling a heavy workload
• Proven good work habits over at least six months in current position

Responsibilities

• Support general accounts payable functions, including supplier payments, account reconciliation, and acting as backup when needed
• Complete month-end accruals and reports
• Assist with year-end audit preparations
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Perform other duties as required
