OPTrust, based in Toronto, is seeking an Intermediate Accountant in Accounts Payable for a 12-month contract. You will handle payment processing, multi-currency transactions, and reconciliations, while supporting financial reporting.

The role requires 3 years' experience in payment processing, strong reconciliations, and proficiency with Concur, Oracle Financials, and Oracle Accounts Payable. A hybrid Toronto workplace and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in accounting; working towards a professional designation is an asset.
• 3 years’ experience in payment transactions processing in finance.
• Knowledge of key control reconciliations and strong reconciliations experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with Concur, Oracle Financials and Oracle Accounts Payable is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Ensure accurate payment processing and timely reconciliations across multi-currency transactions.
• Perform monthly control reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support CRA HST compliance and proper accounting treatment across jurisdictions.
• Maintain and monitor corporate card programs and related accruals.
• Assist in month-end close and provide analysis for financial reporting.
