Job summary

CapWest is seeking an Accounting Clerk to manage Accounts Payable and Receivable workflows. You will triage and upload invoices into Acumatica, prepare checks for approved payments, and reconcile vendor statements to catch discrepancies.

The role supports timely collections and accurate books within our Canadian operations. You will maintain organized accounting folders, assist with AR statements, and contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented accounting professional with focus on AP/AR processes.
• Experience triaging and uploading invoices into accounting systems.
• Ability to reconcile vendor statements and identify discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Triage daily incoming AP documents and upload into accounting software.
• Maintain organized accounting shared folders.
• Prepare checks for approved invoices in the system.
• Assist with processing AP invoices for entities.
• Review vendor statements for discrepancies or missing invoices.
• Assist with generating AR statements and update AR notes.
• Support ad-hoc accounting projects.
