Job summary

Fed Finance is recruiting for a well-established construction company in the Laurentians to fill the position of accounting technician to support the organization’s financial operations. The role covers bank reconciliations, GST/QST returns, payroll processing, and government filings, with responsibility for accounts payable and other accounting tasks.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, and demonstrates strong organization, deadline

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years accounting experience
• Experience in construction industry
• Structured, organized and independent with strong deadlines

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations and track transactions
• Prepare GST and QST returns
• Process full payroll cycle for non-union employees
• Prepare government filings (DAS, T4, Relevé 1)
• Monitor corporate credit cards and expense accounts
• Assist with accounts payable, receipts and contract terminations
• Contribute to various administrative and accounting tasks as needed
