Job summary

Germain Hotels is seeking a multi-skilled Accounting Technician to join the Finance team. This role collaborates with hotel and restaurant teams and supports accounting operations across departments.

The ideal candidate has a college diploma in Hotel Management or Accounting and Management Techniques, plus experience in a similar role and familiarity with Opera and Symphony software. Bilingual French/English is preferred due to diverse communications.

• Experience in a similar position is an asset.
• Knowledge of hotel software such as Opera and Symphony is an asset.
• Advanced level of oral and written French and English, due to the nature of tasks and interactions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Enter and monitor accounts receivable.

• Maintain good relations and ensure good communication with hotel and restaurant teams.
• Provide training and support in operational and accounting procedures.

• A college diploma in Hotel Management or Accounting and Management Techniques (or equivalent).
• Experience in a similar position is an asset.
• Knowledge of hotel software, such as Opera and Symphony, is an asset.
• Advanced level of oral and written French and English, due to the nature of the tasks, work tools or interactions with English-speaking colleagues, partners, suppliers and customers.
