Adi Development Group, a leading real estate development and construction firm in Burlington, Ontario, seeks an Accounting Manager to lead day‑to‑day accounting across corporate and project entities. You will drive the month‑end close, project accounting, and construction draw cycles while mentoring a team and ensuring accurate reporting.

The role requires CPA designation and 7+ years in progressive accounting with leadership experience in real estate development or construction.

Qualifications

CPA designation completed.
Seven+ years of progressive accounting, including leading a team.
Experience building and scaling a finance function in real estate development or construction.
ERP and reporting experience; multi‑entity and intercompany accounting.
Strong Excel/financial modelling and power query skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the accounting team across corporate and project entities.
Oversee month‑end and year‑end closes and financial statements.
Manage accounts payable, construction draws, and payroll processes.
Review intercompany billings, holdbacks, and loan/covenant reporting.
Drive lean accounting across the department and implement AI in repetitive tasks.
