Job summary

Parklawn Group is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee the full accounting cycle and serve as the organization’s primary accounting resource.

Reporting directly to leadership, this role manages the controller and staff, day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, payroll, month-end and year-end close, and financial reporting in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certified QBO specialist is an asset but not required; CPA designation or progress is a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and bookkeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting cycle including AP/AR, GL maintenance and reconciliations.
• Lead month-end and year-end close; prepare financial reports for ownership and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate payroll processing and ensure regulatory compliance including tax remittances.
