Reliance Home Comfort is seeking an experienced Supervisor, Accounting to lead the accounting department and drive timely financial reporting. You will oversee day-to-day activities, coach staff, and ensure accuracy of the general ledger, with a focus on internal controls and compliance.

Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent designation required.
• 5–8 years post-qualification accounting experience.
• Experience supervising accounting teams.
• Strong understanding of internal controls over financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; SAP and Blackline a plus.

Responsibilities

• Priority setting for the accounting department and monthly/quarterly reporting.
• Lead, coach and motivate accounting staff.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information; GL reconciliations.
• Manage period close activities and variances analysis.
• Coordinate IFRS 16 and capital assets reporting with FP&A.
• Support acquisitions and due diligence with accounting teams.
• Promote strong internal controls and organizational process improvements.
