Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking an Accounting Manager for a six-month contract in Scarborough, Ontario. You will lead the month-end close, prepare financial statements, and oversee costing and internal controls for diverse projects.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in accounting, construction industry experience, and CPA is preferred. Budgeting, forecasting, and US GAAP exposure are assets; you will guide a team and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting experience including month-end close and financial reporting.
• Construction industry experience with WIP, percentage of completion, revenue recognition, lease accounting.
• CPA is strongly preferred but not required.

• Experience with budgeting and forecasting is an asset but not required
• Exposure to US GAAP is an asset but not required

You must currently reside within the Scarborough area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity.
