Job summary

Vaco by Highspring, located in Downtown Toronto, is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst for a 12-month contract. The role covers full-cycle reporting across three entities and acts as a finance business partner on P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support financial decision-making, provide insights into performance, and drive timely, data-driven recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent designation preferred/required.
• Progressive experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A at Senior Analyst/Manager level.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and month-/quarter-end reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business partnering skills across functions.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Our client is sourcing for a 12 month contract. This role will require 4 days in office and 1 day from home. The company is Downtown Toronto

Job Description

• Owns full-cycle reporting across 3 entities.
• Acts as a finance business partner across a range of finance-related matters, including P&L, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and ad hoc financial support.
• Partners with operational and cross-functional leaders to support financial decision-making and provide insight into business performance.
• Supports budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles by working closely with stakeholders across the business.
• Translates financial data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for non-finance partners.
• Assists with ad hoc analysis, reporting, and business case support as needed.
• Independent contributor with no direct reports.
• Needs to be deadline-oriented and comfortable operating in a regular reporting cadence / quarter-end environment
