Base pay range

CA$110,000.00/yr - CA$120,000.00/yr

What You Will Be Doing:

As the Accounting Manager, you’ll take ownership of financial operations, from full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll administration to financial reporting and tax compliance. You'll also collaborate with key stakeholders and play a pivotal role in upcoming transformative projects, including an ERP implementation.

Success Criteria & Deliverables:

• Understanding the Business: Master the company’s finance function within 3 months.
• Process Optimization: Implement efficiency improvements within 1 year to reduce manual effort and cycle times.
• Stakeholder Relationships: Build strong, trusted connections with financial partners within 3 months.

What We Need From You:

• CPA designation with full-cycle accounting expertise.
• Strong background in manufacturing, payroll, and financial planning (budgeting, forecasting).
• Systems savvy with ERP implementation experience.
• Deep knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/private reporting) and tax compliance (GST/HST).
• Proven experience in audit functions and establishing streamlined accounting processes.
• Proficiency in managing AP/AR, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and KPI reporting.
• Expertise in inventory counts, fx calculations, and revenue under $5M.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with capital partners and internal stakeholders.
