As a Senior Manager, Financial Reporting and Accounting Advisory Services your responsibilities will include:
• Work with the National Leader- Financial Reporting Advisory Services to further build-out and grow the practice
• Lead engagement teams on the execution and delivery of complex accounting advisory projects, including facilitating training sessions and leading implementation work on new standards and/or transitioning to a new framework
• Provide complex accounting support to other engagement teams, which could include acting as a sounding-board or a “second set of eyes”
• Build and maintain relationships with appropriate levels of client management, including C-Suite
• Understand the client’s industry sector and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and new technical and industry developments
• Continuously learn and share knowledge across the firm and with clients
• Design and prepare deliverables tailored to client needs
• Build relationships that enable seamless collaboration with other service lines in order to provide the client with an exceptional client experience
• Participate in and lead both National and local business development initiatives

Think you’ve got what it takes to be a Senior Manager, Financial Reporting and Accounting Advisory Services? Like the colour purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick:
• A Canadian CPA or equivalent
• A minimum 10 years’ relevant experience
• Experience in external financial audit
• Experience in the technical accounting department of an accounting firm or of a public company
• Experience researching complex accounting issues under IFRS or US GAAP,and forming a proposed approach, experience in both frameworks would be an asset
• Ability to explain complex ideas so they are easily understood by others
• Experience facilitating technical accounting training and/or other relevant training
• Impeccable client relationship skills
• A dedication to teamwork and leadership
Please note: this position may be located throughout our Southern Ontario offices. Although we have a primary location indicated, there is flexibility to explore alternate offices as individual discussions move forward.
