Job summary

Bilinguallink is seeking an Accounting Manager in Montreal to own day-to-day accounting and the month-end close in a growing manufacturing environment, with direct exposure to the President and CFO.

You’ll manage WIP and project costing, inventory, GAAP financials, and provide reporting and forecasts to the leadership team. CPA or Canadian equivalent is highly preferred; Bachelor’s degree required. Base salary up to CAD 150,000 with a 10% target bonus, plus health benefits and retirement plan.

Qualifications

• 5-9 years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Strong WIP and project accounting.
• CPA or Canadian equivalent highly preferred; public accounting mix is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree minimum.
• Eligible to work in Canada.

We are hiring an Accounting Manager for a growing manufacturing client in the Greater Montreal area. This is a hands-on seat with direct exposure to the President and CFO, built for someone who wants ownership and room to grow with the business.

The role

• Own day-to-day accounting and month-end close in a manufacturing environment
• WIP, project/job costing, inventory, and GAAP financials
• Reporting, forecasts, and support for leadership
• QuickBooks (current system) plus expense reporting
• Partner across operations as the company scales
• No direct reports today

What they’re looking for

• 5-9 years of progressive accounting experience in small or mid-size manufacturing
• Solid WIP and project accounting
• Strong GAAP financials
• CPA or Canadian equivalent highly preferred; public accounting mix is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree minimum
• Hungry, clear communicator, comfortable being the accounting lead without a large department underneath you
• Eligible to work in Canada

Compensation & benefits

• Base up to ~$150K CAD, plus 10% target bonus
