Job summary

Noble Search Group Inc. is partnering with a Collingwood-based public accounting firm to recruit a hands-on Manager. The role focuses on delivering professional accounting services to owner-operated businesses and nonprofits, while leading and developing staff.

The position is hybrid (3 days in-office) with a strong emphasis on client service, quality work, and business development. Ontario CPA license required, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ontario CPA license required (ACCA/US CPA not accepted).
• 5+ years of assurance experience in a Canadian public accounting firm.
• Experience with owner-operated businesses and NPOs is preferred.
• Knowledge of agricultural & real estate development clients is an asset.
• Strong teamwork, client service orientation and high-quality work.

My client is a growing Collingwood- and Thornbury-Ontario based public accounting firm where your expertise makes a real difference.

About the Role

They are looking to fill a new hands-on Manager role to help provide professional accounting services to a variety of clients, primarily owner-operated and NPOs. You will also be providing leadership and management to the staff.

This role is ideal for someone who is looking to take the next step in his/her accounting career and values working in an office where what you do, matters.

This is a hybrid role (3 days per week in the office)

You must have a valid Ontario CPA license (ACCA or US CPA is not accepted)

Responsibilities

• Efficiently prepare year-end engagements and tax returns for your clients in a variety of industries.
• Perform audits, prepare working papers and financial statements per regulatory standards.
• Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions.
• Participate in business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities with existing clients.
• Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.
• Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team.

Qualifications

• You are a licensed CPA IN ONTARIO (ACCA, CPA US, etc. does not count).
• You have 5+ years of assurance experience working for a CANADIAN public accounting firm, supporting private owner-managed businesses and NPOs.
• Working knowledge of agricultural & real estate and development clients/industry would be an asset.
• You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
• You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay range and compensation package

• Salary up to $120k
• Up to 10% annual bonus
• Paid CPA and PD fees
• Commission on new client acquisitions

*Please note that candidates must be flexible to work overtime during peak business periods, with overtime compensated as Fridays off during July and August.
