Job summary

Un client dans le secteur manufacturier recherche un gestionnaire comptable à Windsor, ON. Le candidat idéal aura un diplôme en comptabilité, au moins 5 ans d'expérience et sera responsable des opérations de paie, de la supervision des comptes fournisseurs et clients, ainsi que de la conformité financière. Ce poste à temps plein offre un environnement dynamique où le candidat travaillera directement avec la direction pour optimiser les finances de l'entreprise.

Qualifications

• Diplôme en comptabilité requis.
• Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience en comptabilité et tenue de livres.
• Connaissance du secteur manufacturier/un moulage par injection est un atout.

Responsibilities

• Gérer la paie hebdomadaire et assurer la conformité des retenues fiscales.
• Superviser le traitement des factures AP/AR et des paiements.
• Effectuer la réconciliation mensuelle de tous les comptes de grand livre.

Job description

Our client, located in Windsor, ON , has an immediate opportunity :

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Review and process weekly payroll, Union Dues / RRSP, post Payroll GL, annual T4 / T4(A) processing;
• Oversee AP to process A / P invoices and payments for weekly cheque run;
• Oversee AR to process A / R invoices and ensure payments are collected within customers’ terms;
• Ensure compliance with government remittances including payroll taxes, EHT, WSIB, HST, and all other statutory filings;
• Perform and ensure monthly reconciliation of all general ledger accounts to ensure financial accounts are fairly presented and accurate, errors are corrected, appropriate financial recoveries have been made, and issues are resolved and / or escalated;
• Work closely with the owners to review and analyze monthly financial reports;
• Prepare backup schedules and supporting documents for corporate interim and year-end financial statements;
• Manage the daily duties of accounting staff, providing training and support;
• Special projects as requested by senior management;
• Process ad-hoc payments as required;

Qualifications :

• Accounting Degree / Diploma / Certificate and Accounting Designation
• Background in manufacturing / injection molding is an asset
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience
