Job summary

The Seaboard Transport Group in Dartmouth, NS is offering an Accounting Co-op Student position in-office from January to April. You will work with the Accounting team and Director of Finance, gaining a full picture of our business and opportunities to connect with senior leadership.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, journal entries, month-end support, and maintaining financial records, with cross-functional tours and job-shadowing to broaden your understanding of the business.

Position Overview: As an Accounting Co-op Student, you won’t just be working behind the scenes—you’ll gain a full picture of how our business operates. Working closely with our Accounting team and Director of Finance, you’ll contribute to meaningful work while building valuable connections across the organization. This program goes beyond the numbers. You’ll have the opportunity to connect with senior leadership, meet department heads to better understand the business, and experience operations firsthand through job shadowing, ride-alongs, and cross-functional tours.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform reconciliations for broker accounts, bank accounts, and various GL accounts
