Job summary

Sandvik Mining, Ground Support Division in Saskatoon is seeking an Accounts Clerk (Accounts Receivable) to support customer accounts, invoicing and collections. You will prepare financial statements for internal teams and assist with month-end tasks while maintaining compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.

You will interact with sales and finance, manage reconciliations and participate in process improvements to enhance financial visibility.

Qualifications

• Accounting technician diploma or working toward designation preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years in accounts receivable or related finance role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience (Syspro) is a plus.
• Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and internal controls required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, report and action accounts receivable tasks including customer accounts, invoices and receipts.
• Communicate with sales staff and customers to ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Prepare monthly statements, variance reports and support audits and year-end close.

This position plays a key role in managing customer accounts, overdue invoices, and maintaining strong communication with our customers and sales departments. preparing internal and external working papers, supporting audits.
