Job summary

Tenaris in Canada is seeking an Accounting Analyst/Sr. Analyst to perform accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks, update records, and prepare reports. You will run SAP FI/CO processes and leverage Power BI for insights, ensuring accurate cost accounting and inventory valuation.

The role focuses on supporting budgeting, variance analysis, and routine postings, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork within a global company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• Master's degree or relevant certification is an asset.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting and analytical support to the accounting department.
• Provide reporting for profitability and cost analysis.
• Support budget preparation and performance measurement.
• Administer the catalog of cost centers
• Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
• Prepare orders, general ledger postings and statements
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
• Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
• Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
• Observe core processes through on-the-job training and projects
• Analyze information and prepare reports and deliverables
• Develop projects within Accounting
• Develop and manage KPIs to monitor results
• Maintain contact with other company areas and hierarchical levels
