Job summary

Tenaris is seeking an Accounting Analyst/Sr. Analyst in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada.

The role involves accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks, including updating records, preparing reports and reconciling statements, and using SAP FI/CO and MS Office. You will support cost accounting, inventory valuation, and budgeting processes while developing KPIs and collaborating with other departments to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years relevant experience
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
• Accuracy and attention to detail; aptitude for numbers
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting and analytical support to the accounting department
• Provide reporting for profitability and cost analysis
• Support budget preparation and performance measurement
• Administer the catalog of cost centers
• Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
• Prepare orders, general ledger postings and statements
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
• Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
• Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
• Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
• Observes core processes through on-the-job training, project assignments, and training activities
• Analyses information and prepares different deliverables as reports and processes
• Develops specific projects within the Accounting department
• Develops and manages a set of KPI to monitor and measure area results
• Maintains regular contact with other areas of the company and interacts with different hierarchical levels
