Job summary

Canadian Tire Corporation is seeking a Financial Analyst, Inventory Accounting for an 18-month contract based in Toronto, Ontario. You will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses related to inventory, obsolescence, shrink, and FX, while supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting.

You will partner with Finance and business teams to resolve issues, maintain controls, and drive process improvements using tools like Copilot, Power BI, HFM, and PeopleSoft.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA designation.
• 2–3 years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Copilot, Power BI, HFM, or PeopleSoft is an asset.

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting activities

Compensation & Benefits

Broadband salary range: $27/hr - $45/hr CAD. Typical hiring range: $27/hr - $36/hr.
