Our client is looking for an Accounting Administrator who will provide timely, accurate, efficient, and confidential administrative support to the Partners and Directors. Demonstrating a high degree of discretion, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external stakeholders is also paramount. This opportunity is a one year contract.

If you possess initiative, sound judgment, respect for confidentiality, strong organizational and time management skills, this may be the fit for you.

Accountabilities:

  • Organizes schedules and coordinates meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and various other functions as requested
  • Communicates and works with all members of the department and extended team by taking a team approach to problems and their solutions
  • Prepopulating legal documents and government forms
  • Administration of new client set-up, data entry and organization of client documents
  • Assist clients with completion of government forms
  • Setting up secure folders using in-house software program
  • Setting up Zoom and telephone meetings
  • Handle and distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence, client communication, mail, and couriers
  • Other duties and support functions, as assigned

Qualifications Required:

  • 3 years of administrative experience in a professional services setting
  • Ability to work independently on demanding workloads and meet tight deadlines
  • Must be able to adapt quickly, multi-task, prioritize effectively and have a high degree of common sense and business sense
  • Must possess initiative, sound judgment, respect for confidentiality, strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication (written and oral) and people skills are required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio) and other platforms such as Adobe, Teams, Calendly, and Zoom
  • Able to quickly learn other information management systems and assist staff in the Department with basic technology issues
  • Interested in working in the Accounting/Finance field
