Qualifications

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Review completed leases and accurately input tenant information into Yardi.
  • Collect and apply tenant payments promptly.
  • Maintain the rent roll tracker for data accuracy.
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable ledgers and collaborate with Property Managers.
  • Prepare and send Notices of Default as needed.
  • Assist with month-end accounting activities, including posting rent rolls and journal entries.
  • Coordinate with the Property Management team on budgets and tracking.
  • Prepare annual tenant pre-billings, budgets, and CAM reconciliations.
  • Assist with tenant chargebacks and billing.
  • Prepare Rental Advice Notices (RANs) and distribute welcome packages.
  • Respond to tenant inquiries regarding accounts.
  • Work with site staff and leasing teams for operational alignment.
  • Maintain records of tenant insurance certificates.
  • Assist with Estoppels and SNDAs.
  • Update property leasing brochures and online listings.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
  • 2-3 years of property accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of the commercial real estate industry and leases.
  • Proficiency in property management software, especially Yardi.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (IF, SUMIFS, XLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, pivot tables).
  • Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work proactively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
