Our client, specializing in residential construction, is looking to bring on a an Accounting Administrator to join their tight-knit team. This role requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will be tech savvy with the ability to use analytical thinking to see big picture concepts and all of the moving parts of the business process. Ideally, having strong capability in Quickbooks Online and in Sage to support with current and future software changes.

This person will enjoy camaraderie and collaboration amongst their team while also being able to maintain focus with impeccable attention to detail and follow through on the processes that are in place.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

• Accounts payables (A/P) and receivables (A/R)
• Creating and sending invoices
• Following up on payments
• Credit card reconciliations
• Data entry and file maintenance
• Supporting with Health and Safety functions as needed (i.e. verifying tickets of field staff)
• Any other tasks as assigned

Experience:

• 2+ years of accounting experience is required
• Relevent industry experience is considered an asset
• Experience with Quickbooks and Sage is considered an asset

Base Salary:$55k+ per year

• Salary based on experience

Work Hours:

• 8:30am – 4:30pm
• Monday to Friday

• This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
