Recruiting In Motion - Eastern Ontario is seeking an experienced Accountant (Mid/Senior) for an onsite Westboro role in Ontario. The position offers growth through mentorship of junior staff and involvement in complex client engagements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a CPA firm, strong technical accounting and tax knowledge, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced setting. CPA designation is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in a public accounting firm (5+ yrs for the senior level).
• Completed post-secondary education in accounting; a CPA designation is preferred but not required.
• Experience with personal, corporate, family and estate taxation, as well as compilation and review engagements.
• Experience with variance analyses and account reconciliations.
• Proficiency with standard industry software and technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, along with strong interpersonal and presentation abilities.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues at all levels.
• A proactive, success-driven mindset and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
