Job summary

Marble is hiring an Accountant to own day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations, and AR/AP across our Canadian and US operations on a hybrid basis in the Greater Toronto Area, with one day per week in our office in downtown Toronto. You will drive month-end close accuracy and build out reporting capabilities.

We seek 2+ years in accounting, full-cycle expertise, strong data-entry skills, and the ability to work independently to tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting processes.
• Extensive data entry and accurate record-keeping.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication, ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end bookkeeping, reconciliations, and invoicing for Canada and the US.
• Manage general ledger entries and bank/credit card reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable workflows.
• Improve reporting capabilities for faster, sharper company-wide reporting.
• Grow into end-to-end ownership of US accounting processes.
