Job summary

Doane Grant Thornton LLP in Vancouver, BC, is seeking an Accountant, Assurance to plan, prepare and execute financial statement audits and reviews, deliver client solutions on current business and financial conditions, and lead fieldwork planning with budgets and resources while providing exceptional service.

You will supervise and mentor professionals, work with clients in target sectors under varying reporting frameworks, and contribute to building the firm’s reputation as a trusted advisor in

Qualifications

• CPA designation or designation near completion.
• 1+ years of public practice audit experience.
• Strong technical expertise in assurance and accounting.
• Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize solutions.
• Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
• Proven problem solver with solid analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in leading teams on diverse engagements.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office and ability to grasp new tools.

Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors - your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity. To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $51,750-$71,150 in Vancouver, BC. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
