Job summary

Doane Grant Thornton in Vancouver, BC, is seeking an Accountant, Assurance with CPA designation or near completion. You will plan, execute audits and reviews, and deliver client solutions while mentoring staff.

Expect collaboration with diverse sectors and strong attention to quality, with opportunities to lead and grow. The firm values flexibility and supports working in a four-day‑in‑office model across Canada, including summer remote options.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or designation near completion.
• 1+ Years of public practice audit experience
• Strong technical expertise in assurance and accounting.
• Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize solutions
• Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail
• Proven problem solver with analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in leading teams of professionals on diverse engagements
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite and ability to grasp new technology tools

Salary range: $51,750-$71,150 in Vancouver, BC. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
