Job summary

Doane Grant Thornton in Vancouver, BC seeks a Senior Accountant, Assurance to plan, perform and oversee financial statement audits and deliver practical solutions to clients. You will work with partners and managers to manage fieldwork, budgets, and client service, building the firm’s reputation across key sectors.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or near completion required.
• 3+ years of public practice audit experience.
• Strong technical expertise in assurance and accounting.
• Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize solutions.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading teams on diverse engagements.
• Proficient with MS Office; quick to learn new tools.

Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors—your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity. To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $67,000-$92,000 in Vancouver, BC. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
