Waypoint in British Columbia is seeking an Accountant to support day-to-day accounts receivable, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records. This hybrid role offers opportunities to work in-office or in-branch in Vancouver or Courtenay.
You will collaborate with the Team Lead and Finance Operations to ensure timely posting, reconciliations, and adherence to internal controls.
The Accountant will support the day-to-day accounts receivable functions, including processing payments, monitoring outstanding balances, assisting with reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. Working closely with the Team Lead and Finance Operations team, this role provides an opportunity to develop accounting skills while contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of the company's financial operations.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work in-office or in-branch in British Columbia based on business needs. Preference will be given to candidates who can work hybrid in Courtenay or Vancouver.

The salary range for this role is $50,000 to $60,000 per year. Compensation is determined by a combination of factors including a candidate’s experience, job-specific knowledge, and skills. Internal equity to ensure fairness across the organization and region/location is also considered.
