This role is responsible for the preparation of financial and summary reports, providing accounting support to facilitate the delivery of professional services and financial solutions. The accountant contributes to the implementation of preventative controls, helps identify inefficiencies in processes, and recommends improvements. It also proactively analyzes the accounting implications of potential business decisions and collaborates closely with business partnersDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:* Review revenue, expense, and payroll transactions for accuracy and compliance; create accounting records and maintain accurate and timely financial data.* Perform monthly close activities and prepare financial statements and other management reports.* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end adjustments and accruals.* Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance; monitor and analyze financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies.* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies; assist in the implementation of accounting and internal control policies and procedures.* Maintain and improve internal control processes to ensure financial accuracy and risk mitigation.* Assist in the preparation of documentation and work directly for internal and external audit inquiries.* Provide support to AP, AR, Payroll, and Operation teams to ensure smooth and compliant financial operations.* Other duties and responsibilities as assignedQUALIFICATIONS: Education and Required Experience* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
