Job summary

Draganfly Innovations Inc. is seeking an Accountant to support the Finance team with purchase orders, invoice matching, accounts payable runs, and related activities. This full-time remote role reports to the Controller.

You will manage PO and AP records, collaborate with internal teams and vendors, and assist month-end close. Ideal candidates have accounting education, Dynamics 365 BC experience, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience handling purchase orders from a finance perspective.
  • Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Strong Excel skills for data management and report matching.
  • Strong communication habits for cross-departmental collaboration.
  • High attention to detail for pricing, quantity, and coding.

Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase orders by maintaining dashboards and procurement follow-ups.
  • Execute invoice matching by reviewing GRNI reports and PO invoices.
  • Prepare weekly AP runs for timely payments.
  • Complete finance and accounting tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain PO and AP records with complete supporting docs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support month-end activities related to AP, accruals, and reconciliations.

About The Role:

Draganfly Innovations Inc. is looking for an Accountant to support the Finance team in managing purchase orders, invoice matching, accounts payable runs, and related finance activities.

This is a full-time remote role within the Finance department, reporting to the Controller.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage purchase orders by maintaining the dashboard, resolving discrepancies, and completing procurement follow-ups.
  • Execute invoice matching by reviewing GRNI reports and processing PO-related invoices and prepayments.
  • Prepare weekly AP runs to ensure timely and accurate payments for Draganfly entities.
  • Complete other finance and accounting tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate PO and AP records, ensuring supporting documentation is complete and properly coded.
  • Work closely with internal teams and vendors to resolve invoice, pricing, quantity, and payment discrepancies.
  • Support month-end activities related to AP, accruals, and reconciliation as needed.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
  • Prior experience handling purchase orders from a finance perspective.
  • Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Good Excel skills, specifically for managing data and matching reports.
  • Strong communication habits for cross-departmental and vendor collaboration.
  • High attention to detail to spot pricing, quantity, and coding errors.
Compensation:
  • Competitive salary: $60,000 - $65,000 CAD
