Position Summary...

Walmart Connect is seeking an experienced Account Manager to build successful client-advertiser relationships through an understanding of the client’s business, expectation management, and ensuring campaign strategies and tactics meet the clients’ needs. The successful candidate will be comfortable bridging Walmart Connect’s omni-channel portfolio of tactics to deliver comprehensive media strategies to clients.

This role involves managing a key retail category within a growing team of Account Managers, promoting continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of advertiser and shopper needs are essential to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The role may also include developing strategies to optimize sales operations, improve productivity, and enhance revenue. Collaboration with product management, development teams, and other departments is crucial for deploying advertising solutions and ensuring effective campaign execution.

Additionally, responsibilities include creating and managing business intelligence dashboards for insights and decision-making, monitoring campaign performance, and providing reports and actionable recommendations to improve revenue.

What you'll do...
  • Manage advertiser campaigns and revenues for a specific key category, building strategic campaign recommendations aligned with brand goals and marketing objectives.
  • Lead campaign kick-offs, creative processes, measurement workflows, and performance discussions with clients.
  • Provide technical guidance on campaign specifics and troubleshoot issues.
  • Partner with campaign management for activation, trafficking, and optimization.
  • Manage sales pipeline with Client Partner, entering campaign details into CRM accurately and ensuring billing.
  • Collaborate with Ad Operations, Sales, and Creative teams to ensure high-quality campaign execution within service level agreements.
  • Use analytics to build and present campaign reports, sharing insights and recommendations to support advertiser strategies and drive revenue.
Qualifications
  • College or University diploma in Marketing or equivalent.
  • 3+ years experience in Customer Success or Account Management in digital media.
  • 3+ years experience managing clients and relationships.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Broad knowledge of media channels with a digital focus.
  • Familiarity with campaign evaluation metrics and media buying.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of analytics tools.
